It all started in 2021, during a marine science internship in southern Mozambique.

Between research dives and tagging manta rays, founder Shari Moscoso realized that her life needed a radical change. One that placed the ocean at its center.

What followed were bold decisions: leaving behind a previous career, becoming a professional diver in Indonesia and dedicating herself to studying manta rays.

This journey led to the creation of Shari's Ocean, a company devoted to ocean advocacy, research and conservation through meaningful design and immersive dive expeditions.

Between 2023 and 2024, Shari’s Ocean helped fund manta ray research and contributed to a behavioral monitoring study through our expeditions.

Beyond research, our aim is to connect people to the sea and to enable everyone to live their love for the ocean, everyday.

With our core values being marine research and conservation, we do our best to make our products and expeditions as sustainable, memorable and ocean themed as possible.
